Biscuits:
4 cups self rising flour
1/4 teaspoon ground sage
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
3 Tablespoons sugar
4 Tablespoons cold butter
6 Tablespoons cold lard
1 cup heavy cream
2 cups buttermilk
some all purpose flour
Gravy:
5 or 6 strips of bacon
salt
all purpose flour
milk
